say can you hear cover

Sleepy melancholic tremolo waves washing over one another, wishing me a sombre sleep. Drums and picking are minimal and repetitive, falling back perfectly into an almost unconscious place for the youthful, shy, and monotone voice to fade in through the mix. Lyrics speaking of another’s arrogance and the self-absorption, something of an apathetic, expected resentment. My thoughts are that it is perfectly stripped back shoegaze track. If the previous album I’ve heard of Men I Trust (Oncle Jazz) is the party, this is the opiate infused afterglow.
