The latest release from WARP is pretty amazing. It has smooth, silky piano, lifting strings and some very nice production. The album is in a nice… uhhh… format, and I am glad to have assimilated it into my collection. There is a cheeky aspect to the record that makes it quite playful and jovial to listen to. The British label is probably the most in touch with the vox populi, although there are no familiar names on the tracklist. The title of the album is a play on the fact that none of us can truly be free – at least, until we listen to this album.

3D Warrior is a joyful riff with some longing, raspy vocals that come straight from the heart. Shabaka Hutchings comes through with a strong vocal performance. Haile Supreme is next on the record.

The beauty and emotional messages contained in this album is immense, I highly recommend giving it a listen.
