This album is a delight. Alanis always keeps the vocal performance colourful and full of passion and angst. You feel the rollercoaster of emotions through the variety and sincerity of the vocal performances. The instruments never steal the spotlight and just fill the cracks with colour. Like a well chosen frame for a painting, it compliments the work and cradles the direction she takes with her voice. The album has many bangers with catchy riffs and choruses, and the filler glue holding them are no worse while managing to be less memorable. You still remember you liked it, perhaps the more classic songs resounded with me better because I had heard them growing up. Even without nostalgia this album is completely cash. An alternative rock display of pure commitment to the love of music. 10/10
